Frequently Asked Questions
If you have a question that does not appear in this list please submit it to our Webmaster for inclusion. Thanks.
Q: How can I participate in a
research project?
A: In order to participate in one of our
market research studies you first have to be a respondent in our
database (Sign-Up to Participate).
Since every project is different and requires different criteria to
participate, our computer system randomly selects people who meet
the basic qualifications, then our recruiters will give you a call
and ask some more specific project questions. If you qualify, you
are asked to participate. If not, don't fret... we keep you in the
database for the next possible project for you. Sometimes we will
e-mail a pre-qualifying questionnaire before a recruiter calls, but
you will always speak with a recruiter before any invitation to
participate is extended.
Q: Will I get paid for participating?
A: Yes, you will receive compensation for your participation in any
study that the Nashville Research Group, LLC, performs as long as
you meet the specific requirements of the job. Compensation
will vary from job-to-job but primarily is dependent upon the length
of time required to participate.
Q: What are specific job requirements?
A: Job requirements will vary depending on the type of research study being performed.
However, if you are required to be present for a schedule event then you must be on time
(15 minutes early is good form).
Failure to arrive on time limits your ability to participate and can disqualify you from the
job and any compensation.
Q: What happens if I am scheduled
and cannot make the appointment?
A: We understand that things come up and you may not be able to make it. Just call us
at: (615) 399-7727 as soon as possible when you realize you will be unable to attend your research study job.
The sooner we know, the sooner we can find a replacement.
Our client's have specific requirements for their individual
research studies so enabling us the maximum amount of time
helps. Continuous repeat cancellations will result in you
being removed from the database and possible future studies.
Q: I got an e-mail about a survey, now what?
A: On occasion we will send out pre-qualifying surveys to
individuals in the database who meet basic demographic requirements for a
particular research study. If you got the email, then take the pre-qualifier survey in order to see if you
meet more stringent qualifications of the client in order to
participate. If you do, then, you may get a call
to participate in a future research study.
Q: I took the pre-qualifying survey, when do I show up?
A: We appreciate your enthusiasm... however, the only time you should "show up" is after you
have talked with a representative and been given a specific time to participate.
Q: I took the pre-qualifying survey
but didn't get a call, how come?
A: Once you successfully complete the survey, you may or
may not get a call to participate.
Of course there could be other reasons, but those are a few. Once you do get a call, they may ask you some additional questions and determine whether you will be scheduled or not.
Some reasons you may not get a call are:
- your specific demographic quota has already been filled.
- the entire job quota has been filled.
- the client cancelled a portion of the research study that you qualified for.
- the client changed criteria for the job.
Q: Once I sign up, are you going to sell my information to others?
A: Absolutely NOT!! Any and all information you provide to us gets stored in our database and is only used to
determine if you meet the minimum parameters set forth by a client for their individual project. Clients do
not have access to our database, only authorized Nashville Research Group
personnel can query the database.
Q: I signed up to participate, but what happens to all my personal information now?
A: We are committed to keeping personal data secure and will take all reasonable precautions to protect your personal information
from loss, misuse or alteration. This data is stored on our internal network servers that are protected by firewalls
and other appropriate security mechanisms.
Q: I have a question that is not listed here.
A: Just send your question to our webmaster
or to Service@NashvilleResearch.com
